Just occasionally for someone with some electronics experience it might be possible to find something simple to fix but usually unlikely IMO. Please ------------- turn off your CAPS LOCK!!Moved. If you have had no experience with fixing electronics/circuits, I would advise against doing anything to it. Also, you don't know what current is still lurking around in there.... thank you very much sir.. May I add - do not simply short them out! Electrolytics can store a lot of energy. My approach would be to use something like a 1K resistor across + and - .... for a good few seconds and then even put a dig MULTIMETER across to finally check for residual charge. A reasonable wattage resistor is a better better than a tiny 1/8 Watt deal.
