Answer» I have a windows 95 computer that has been upgraded to a windows 98.I also have a newer XP. I wnat to take the HD from my 98 and make it a SLAVE drive to my XP momentarily so that i can scan my 98 HD for viruses. If I do this will my computer accept it or will it cause a BUNCH of problems? TY for your helpit should accept it, but dont forget to change the jumper on your hard drivefor future reference, you can always burn a CD with the antivirus, or any other one like AVG, www.grisoft.com or pickup the latest issue of MaximumPC magazine and the enclosed cd has many great TRIAL software/freeware UTILITIES.
