Solve : Question about non-ECC RAM? |
|
Answer» I currently have a MOTHERBOARD that doesn't support ECC RAM, and am going to upgrade it to this: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=240311. My current RAM (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80098-2) is non-ECC, but since the motherboard I'm going to purchase is, would the RAM I have now be unusable (i.e., would I have to purchase ECC RAM for it)? Thanks in advance!Wes Barron.....If I understand your QUESTION ......you currently have a pc with a stick of Kingston 512 mb PC3200 , DDR400 ...184 pin unbuffered , non ecc Ram.... |
