Well I was recently playing the old game I bought a while back which is Battlefield 1942   I never knew why I stopped playing, so I installed it and then while I played I remembed why, it lags so dam much, so I need some help? I dont have a thing that says the ram or WHATEVER REQUIREMENTS, so here are some of the things I have on my comp or whatever. Not sure what is important but ok let me try.

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.00Ghz
256mb RAM
GeForce Mx440
Windows XP Professional

I dont care much about the graphics so I do I need more RAM if so I might get one for the holidays, btw, if you have an answer dont expect me to know a lot about comps, im only 14 and mostly play computer games all the time

Oh one more question, what should I get if I buy Guild Wars?

Well thx everyoneYou need a better graphics card and more Ram.Failing that, try turning down the graphics settings on the game. After you get that RAM for Christmas, yank the settings back up again. Also make sure you have the latest driver for your video card; you can download it from the card manufacturer's website.

You have enough to run Guild Wars, but not well. Again, RAM is the issue.This is the best TOPIC title of the Year...It was wither this or My Computer Suckshmm ok thanks everyone   I will try notching down the graphics and will try it once i get more memory later for holiday. I might come back here for more computer help  RAM sticks for Christmas. You gotta love the 21st century.
