Answer» Hello! I'm LOOKING for a laptop with good sound system and quiet fans. I work with Classical Music, so a noisy fan would be a problem. HP laptops have this DTS sound, which is good, but the fans I've HEARD were loud. Anyone has any suggestions??For whats it worth,I do not think you will find any current laptop with decent sound. Fan noise is caused by moving air in a confined space. That is why TRADITIONAL DESKTOPS can have the LOWEST fan noise levels. Professional portable equipment for broadcast work goes for about $7000 and up. For your musical pleasure, the best you can do is some kind of portable audio with Bluetooth headphones. But keep looking... maybe you will find a decent laptop out there. Consider a used Mac Book with external speakers. Best sound for your money.
