How are you supposed to hook this card into your tv with a s-video cable? The s-vid out looks different than the cable. (fits the tv so I know it's a s-video card). Am I missing a common adapter or something?Have a look at the 2 links below and let us know if they apply to you.

I'm not sure if this uses the dongle:

like the 9600 does. It didn't come with one, and also it has a s-video in and s-video out right on the card. The 9600 just had the vga out and s-video in that this dongle came with:

Mine did come with one of these, but that only plugs into the s-video in, not the s-video out.

Hope that's not too confusing. My card looks just like this:

only vga instead of dvi. Both s-video (in and out) are identical LOOKING. As you can see niether are standard s-video. I know the s-video in uses that purple THING, but not sure what the out uses.even better pic of the ports:

Where do I buy one?check with ati i guess , I take it you were given this card and did not purchase it as it should have come with that piece from the manufacture, if bought from a dealer return it .for a complete PACKAGE. the missing piece will only fit that card
