Answer» I have delt with hardware raid before, but at home I am having to LOOK into software raid which I have no experience with. I will start with that using some CREATIVITY I have READ you can setup raid 5 software through XP pro. If I setup a software raid 5 in a 4 bay USB enclosure can I move it between COMPUTERS or is the array information stored on the computer? If it is stored on the computer then despite my raid array if the OS drive failes then my raid array WOULD all be lost?
