If you have a raid0 array, will it work if you move it to a different controller card or computer? Is it different for softraid? How can you tell if it is a softraid or not? What controller card?Oddly enough, my motherboard has never worked when set to raid in bios. Atleast not seeing my hardrive. I had to look up online how to set it up and it said to set it to non-raid (ata, I think is the option, I can't remember the exact name). I then downloaded the utility on my comptuer (sis raid) that was supposed to be made for my mobo and away I went. I never had any problems with it until recently. Well, THATS not completely true, but close enough. I have Gigabyte 8s648fxp-rz mobo, with a built in SiS controller card, or WHATEVER you would call it if it is built-in. Two Sata150 drives.
