Answer» Some RAM is being used by your graphics card, because it is an IGP. Is there a way you can tell how MUCH it is using? Try going into the BIOS, and look under integrated peripherals or similar.Probably 128 MG. Which means all the RAM is there. However the vid card may not be the CULPRIT here...the Human MEMORY might be 512 + 256 = 768 But if you ACTUALLY added a different stick or it was mislabeled then: 512 + 128 = 640.i think it's using 128 mb of ram. But still, why did it ORIGINALLY say 700+ now it goes down to 600+? bit strange
