Answer» im and idiot, when i bought my new PC, i ddnt look at the number of DIMM slots. it has 2 and i bought with 1GB RAM (2 x 512mb) is there some way to either add another slot or some how SPLIT 1 into 2? i know this is a stretch but i cant afford to buy 2 x 1Gbno you can't really add another slot you are going to have to go with 2 x 1 gig if you want to upgrade.Or, check your motherboard manual, you may be able to buy 1x1Gb and have 1.5Gb. There is no way to add another memory slot to your board, sorry.it was worth a shot, thanx anywayBrings back fond MEMORIES...i remember those expansion cards from the Win98 days...oh YAH and daughter BOARDS..... mmmmmmm that was a while back though
