Answer» can you put 2GB 667 Mhz CT25664AC667 DDR2 SODIMM in COMPAQ Presario M2010US (M2000) I know its ddr but I read some where that it will only take 1 giggo to www.crucial.com and use their tool to see what your COMPUTER can handle.http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Presario%20M2000%20SeriesIt might work and it might not. You would have to experiment. Crucial says NO, but sometimes their information is based on what was available at the time the computer was manufactured. It says 512MB/slot. Will 1024MB work? No way to know for sure unless you try it or find SOMEONE with exactly the same computer who has done it successfully.I doubt it will work...2 512's maybe... I doubt it will work...2 512's maybe...I only SAY this because I have a very old laptop which says max MEMORY is 128MB/slot. I was gutting a newer laptop which had the same type of memory but were 256MB in 2 slots. I put the 2-256MB into the old laptop and they work perfectly. So, I stand by my statement, "It might work and it might not." |
