I have a brand new Dell Dimension E510, and for some reason I'm getting a random beep COMING from the computer tower maybe once or twice a day. Its just one quick beep? Any ideas?Contact Dell support. It may be important and you DO have a warranty. It may be nothing, but they will know what to do.I use to heard a CLICKING noise but every 16 sec but it doesnt HAPPEN no more but instead i get a sound noise or a horn sound every few often what is going on?Are you using a laptop in traffic? You talking to me?
if you was than the answer is noYou reported hearing horns.....Yeah it is really strange
I have done a complete scan every week but nothings seem to be stoping that horns and wierd short music but it only happen every few often.
It might just be a joke virus LOL
What do you think? Is your system clean? This might be common sense, but is it becasue your holding down alot of keys at one time? That happens to me, I hold down alot of keys while playing games and I get a beep....just like now lolI have clean it again and at the moment i having no noise but i think it might COME back and haunt me

Yep i know but this is not a beep, is a sound of horn and sound of a music playing.I seem to recall DILBERT (?) reporting a similar problem, and it turned out to be the Microsoft Assistant (the animated characters that annoy the *censored* out of you) that was making the sounds every so often.
