Answer» Quote I baught a couple of components a while ago, and installed it in my little brother's pc. (which i stole) Everything was running fine, exept that the FDD isn't reconized anymore. It IS installed in the BIOS, but it just won't appear in windows and at starting up the LED lights up all the TIME, and it won't go off. No start-up floppies work in it, since it doesn't read them at all! I'd say it's not properly connected. Quote like always, im trying to get my cool 730.6 MB HDD installed on a pc. now, I GOT A PC WHICH CAN HANDLE IT OMFG. Are you sure you're booting from it... If the BIOS doesn't support the HDD, you'll undoubtedly get some strange results. Quote now, i tried to install the old HDD as a second drive, but now the whole pc won't startup at all! it only lights his leds, and the monitor gets no signal. Can this happen becouse there is a heavy-powered burner installed so the hdd's doesn't get enough power? A "Heavy powered burner"? :-?1.Did you steal the PC or the components. Perhaps you have the FDD cable plugged in wrong. 2.See response( 1.) 3.Hard drives don't use that MUCH power. Have you ever heard of ill gotten gains. Looks like your screwed for being a thief. Did you expect better? YOUR NOT SSSUPPOSED TO SSSTEAL SSSTHON. Perhaps he COULD steal a book on DIY-computer building as well while he's at it. Quote http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=96745502000914740 That is pretty neat! Quote Quotehttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=96745502000914740 Yeh! especially where Miss Piggy SOUNDS like Micheal Jackson. Only you can help your self. We can only suggest things. Quote the FDD cable is pullged in like it should, and i can see it in the BIOS too. but it just won't work! If the light stays on constantly and it does not work then it is not correctly connected. Is the cable reversed on the mobo? |
