FlameThat REALLY is not diagnostic, so try with a KNOWN good 350 or so from another machine and see if that works. UNLESS it is some sort of proprietary PSU. Who is the manufacturer of the computer? And what name is on the side of the PSU?The computer is an EMACHINE but the mb is FIC AM 37 . I replaced everything else but mb and cpu 2 years ago and has been working fine since.The ps is bestec and is the origional.Hane a cheap 350 ps in it now and will let it cool down and see what happens Thanks for help Guys!No luck with the other power supply, it's cheap one but sure it works fine. The system had same problem.Wonder if battery could be bad and would this cause the problem? BillB
