Solve : Ready for christmas? |
|
Answer» Everyone ready for christmas? I still need to shop for everyone…this happens to me every year. I WAIT too long and then need to shop with less than 10 days people want their presents! I never know what to get for anyone...any great ideas out there?Well, I don't see how anyone can suggest anything without knowing the people you give gifts to. I still have some shopping to do, too. But, I do have some ideas. I've been recording them as they come to mind, in a Word file.I don't tend to buy presents for people, nor cards. I do send a few cards, but presents are MAINLY just some sweets or something, and only to people I don't see over Christmas. The people I do see, they already know what they mean to me, so I don't see the point in everyone buying cards and gifts for one another. Christmas is supposed to be a time to be with your family, not the commercialised buying spree it has somehow become. It's also a time to be with your friends, and basically FEEL good (at least, that's my PLAN this year - to try and enjoy Christmas for once). In other words, Calum is cheap. But yes, I am cheap, however that's not the main reason for the lack of presents and cards.Well, I'm a bit more shallow and it is my main reason for not buying anyone presents. Actually, I'm just poor. This year, presents only go to my girlfriend and immediate family. This year I only got something for my Girlfriend and my Sister. In my family each sibling gets another siblings name and they have to get something for them. PLUS, I can't afford to buy anything else. Haha. I'm flat broke.Merry Christmas from the Hubble The Acrobat files produce the best results... |
