BIOS says cache RAM 1024 KB

on the main page it says

installed memory 1024 MB/PC2-4200
memory bank 1 1024 MB DDR2 SDRAM (this is the new stick)
memory bank 2 not installedyou still can only have a max of 1 gb stopping thinking other wise we have told you this.  Not being rude just dont like being very repetative I posted that in response to the previous post to let him know the information I found, in the event that it was something other than what was already thought.  If you don't want to repeat yourself, don't reply to this TOPIC.  I CAME here for help, not to have you be rude to me.....which, yes, is what you were.
