Ok so i have a 3 day old Dell Inspiron 1501, 2 gigs of ram, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55 1.80GHz, SigmaTel High DEFINITION Audio CODEC Speakers/Headphones, and i'm trying to use Camtasia Studio to record my screen, and record the audio that COMES out of my speakers, but the option for the recording speakers is unselectable, and i have no idea why. I have TRIED everything i can think of. I'm making a tutorial for my friends on how to animate with Hudini Master 8, but i'm can't record the sound for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :]double click audio icon on bottom right hand side of monitor > select options > select properties > select recording > under "Show the following volume controls:" is there an option called "What U Hear"?

i dont believe "What U Hear" is supported by all sound CARDS. you may need to PURCHASE a new sound card if that option is not present. if you do not wish to purchase a new sound card, you may be able to add audio after you are finished making the video.
