It's been Raining here very hard for the last two days.

Nothing quite as christmasy as a nice gray gloomy sky, everything soaked and deep puddles- it's a real Winter wonderland.

Although to be perfectly honest Rain is a lot preferable then snow in the GRAND scope. I mean, Snows good for the first 5 minutes when you look out the window and see how bueatiful things are when they are white, then you have a deep inner conflict about wether that sounded rascist... anyway, eventually, you remember you have crap to do and the snow is getting in the way, you ahve to walk or drive through it and unless you LIVE above the 39 or so you probably don't live where many people have a lot of experience driving in snow, so you get people going "DER, I gunna get donuts, even though I have bald summer tyres. I'll be fine... I'll just take this case of schnapps for the road.I do not want to cause inconvenience

I'm currently in Texas visiting from Hong Kong. Never really gets below 50 back at home so it's always an experience.

We were driving up from Houston to Dallas last year when the ice storm hit. Now THAT was fun.........
Driving on the ice is near impossible to master. Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on December 23, 2010, 06:56:02 PM

C'mon up here (Manitoba) and give it a shot. The saying goes, we get 6 months of winter and 6 months of poor sledding. overthehill Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on December 23, 2010, 06:43:09 PM

I'm so sick of snow. I haven't seen the ground in a month and they're forecasting more snow for Christmas.

That reminds me of when I was living down in North Cackalacky. We got two inches of snow one day and it caused pandemonium. I was driving home from work in my Civic and was going up a very gentle slope. There were cars and even FOUR wheel drive trucks in the ditches all the way home. I drove by in my Civic, astonished at the driving ability of my fellow motorists. I'm not even entirely sure what the point of this poll is, but I don't find it terribly appropriate to be voting on members/moderators without their CONSENT, so I'm locking this.
