Answer» I have a working Dell PC with win 2000 and am attempting to add a new HD as storage. The new HD (WDC 160gig) was FORMATTED originally with win95 as a 2 gig drive. How do I wipe the drive and reformat to larger size? I've TRIED using the win2000 drive but cann't seem to establish a size larger than 2G. ALSO attempting to boot the second drive as a primary (without OS) using WDC lifeguard tools deadends - comes BACK with error message of "cannot initialize screen display". Other avenues to attempt?How to INSTALL, partition, and format an EIDE drive in Windows 2000.
