Answer» I have a Compaq PRESARIO 5000. The CDROM went out and I cannot get the old one out. Anyone know how to physicall remove this hardware without a hammer and blowtorch? I have an old Presario 5070 and was bummed when they TRASHED the old Compaq FORUM...alot of experienced people posted there...such is the reality of being bought out by HP I suppose...still a few links and downloads for the old Presarios, but there used to be a ton of VALUABLE info there.
