I accidentally deleted an .avi format VIDEO from the RECYCLE bin and restored it with a program called Restoration Version 2.5.14
Unfortunately, when i saved it to my desktop, it is just a file, that plays in Windows media player but it isnt recognised as a video file, so i cant convert it into a .vob because DivXtoDVD DOESNT recognise it.
Is there any way i can rename it or convert it back to a .avi file?
Thanksu should really ask this question in the "microsoft" or "software" section in the FORUM. this is definately not HARDWARE related.I deliberated over the choice of forum to post in and decided on this one merely because it said 'Computer Video' below the title, and because i saw a few video and audio related questions.
