Answer» Hi all, i've looked on this forum for information about renaming multiple files using a BATCH file, which as you can imagine returned a few very good answers, alas i couldn't find a resolution to my problem. I have about 5000 files that i would like to ATTACH a prefix to for example all files are .jpg and all named differently but i would like say 03 prefixing the filename. I.e. apple.jpg BECOMES 03apple.jpg Can someone help? i hope i've explained what i WANT clearly enough. Thanks JSee here . If thats not what you want, you can use for loop to loop over the files, then use rename.
