Solve : replaced old drive, but error on startup? |

Answer» Have an HP Pavilion laptop. Repairing a computer doesnt require the knowledge of things like what the beep codes are or what they mean or what the stop mesages mean or whatever. Its just like in Math, theres more than one way to get to the result. I just want to find out if you guys know what the message means and if so is there another way you guys know to fix it. Thats all. By the way, why does it annoy you guys so much that I as a computer technician like to use this forum to ask questions? I mean you guys can open computer shops too right? First, I'm not "you guys". I speak for myself, not others. Second, OF COURSE it bothers me when someone claims a level of expertise at something, gets paid for that alleged expertise, and then asks others to do the job for him for free. Call me petty, but that irks me. Oh - and I assure you - when clients pay me to do a job it's because they KNOW I'm good at what I do based on past performance and my reputation. I do not ask others to do my job for me. I do it myself, and I do it very well. And I'm not trying to start a fight here. You asked, so I responded. By the way, every single issue Ive ever brought here has been fixed by me, myself and I. In some cases I learnt something new from here, in some other cases I didnt. But as I said in another message to someone else who claimed to be ticked off by my asking for help, if I were to wait the possible day and a half for you guys to reply and give me a solution to any issue, I wouldnt be able to turn out the number of computers I do. So, anyways, this is a board to offer people advise and I have helped some others too, and I see nothing wrong in helping others and leaving it to them for personal gain, that is, unless youre not helping them willingly. Posting on the internet for the whole world to see is definitely not the way to keep your advice secret. Why take an issue with things, if you are helping out, then do so willingly.
