Solve : Replacing hard drive, deactivate WinXP?? |
|
Answer» My hard DRIVE is making a lot of noise on start up, so I'd like to REPLACE it. No, unless it's a very recent installation you're fine. Go ahead and do the install. If you do encounter a problem (and I'd be very surprised if you do) you will be given a number to call at MS. Just make the call, explain the situation, and you'll be given a new activation code. Thanks for the advice, I'll reply again if I have any trouble.Ok. You shouldn't. |
