Solve : Requesting Compaq manual?

Answer»

I am looking for a Compaq manual that covers the Deskpro EN Series k500/10 NTL with serial number 8951CKP30182

I have looked on the Compaq (Now Hewlett Packard) website, but I got lost several times in an endless list of numbers.Have you contacted a Customer Care Representative about this? it sounds more like a custom request... Online pages might not have what you need...

[glb]Flame[/glb]I know that Computer_Commando always asks for the serial number of a computer, so he must have a SOURCE of information somewhere. While you're waiting, why not call Compaq and ask them?

As far as I know, it only works for Dell and sometimes Gateway.  Service Tag is all you need to give them, their database does the rest.  This is a US link, don't know what you get from "over there".

                       happy hunting,
bmacgurkMuch obliged Computer_Commando and Bmacgurk. Looks like I've got some work to do.

Unfortunately, all the links seem to be dead.. I will E-mail Hewlet Packard to see if they can issue me a manual.

Would anyone know what adress to mail to without me having to turn the entire side upside down?Messages have been removed, I suggest that you do the same. I do not want this to be escalate any further than you have allready allowed it to. I am a livinig man, I've got work to do

Do not mention my name in any of your posts, nor should you adress me in any manner in the future to COME.Dear oh dear........come on lighten up......life short.... i have decleared myself  the abitrator.....and i think......just forget it...and just call it quits........personal views can or sometimes escalate into full scale war.......usual for me to *censored* in.......but its silly......imhao.....Someone please tell me what I said to him that set him off...

[glb]Flame[/glb]I meant what made us fight... I said you sould call, you said you would wait. I suugested that you should call ANYWAY, but then you lit-up... What did I do? And if it helps any, I AM SORRY

[glb]Flame[/glb]The sign of a true human to admit they did wrong.....bravo.....Raptor, I need to know this to set things right... You said you were looking for a manual. I suggested that you call HP. You said you would rather wait for Computer_Commando. I said that it would be faster. The next post that was made was you yelling at me for it... My question is... What did I say in that second post that made you so angry? If the deleting of the posts shows that we are both done with being angry about the whole situation, then that's great! But I don't know if it's over unless someone tells me...

[glb]Flame[/glb]You change opinions often, Flame!

For the sake of peace I will ACCEPT your apology... However, I still do not take it kindly if you message me or go into any type of argument with me! I will refrain from doing the same.ok then. The END of the tunnel has come. I shall allow us both some more cooldown time before I post my farewell. Also... Might be pushing it here... But... do you mind if I send you one last private message? Just one. I'll keep it short I swear
