Answer» Hey guys, you can start in Safe mode, using F8 right before windows starts booting. Select "safe mode" from the screen that appears. If you still need help let us know. Depending on the age of the computer and the video card in it, it may not be able to display at that. I really can't THINK of why it would ask for it if it's not capable of it. Sorry BC_Programmer. You type FASTER than me. When i boot in safe mode it does exactly the same thing. My monitor max res is 1024x768 heres the COMP specs: 2.8GHZ P4 processor 256mb ram 5.1 soundcard built in extreme graphics cdrw & dvd/cdrw 40gb hard drive XP pro installed to test it out & looking good Netgear wifi card added - just needs driver installing & a antenna fitting. running fast... add some memory and you have a powerful machine, or use as it is, its running internet very fast on my connection via ethernet port. This has been copied from the seller ^ ^ ^ so looks as though it was working when windows was installed. Could it be my monitor then? It also came with built in graphics would that make a diff?
