Solve : restore disk wiped out ide? |
|
Answer» I installed a new MOTHERBOARD because the old one kept having PROBLEMS seeing the hard drive/ide. When I started up with the new motherboard it was working beautifully but I decided to run a restore on the hard drive to start with a clean slate. Now I'm getting the same error as on the other mb. How do I get my SETTINGS back? I tried to manually put in the hard drive settings but it won't take.maybe the hard drive was a FAULT in the first PLACE and not the motherboard....what is the make of the hard -drive?also a faulty ide cable can cause this problem?try swapping the ide cable over... |
