Solve : Reward for info on Tower case connections HEEEEEEELP!?

Answer»

I bought a Intel Pentium 4 925x motherboard on ebay. Then all the accoutriments to complete a super new system. But- 10 minutes after starting assembly SATURDAY morning I hit a major problem! There are no BOARD indications of the position of the case power leads i.e. power SWITCH, power led, speaker, reset switch etc. All there is, is a bank of 17 pins (9 x 2 with one blank) named control panel. I have spent 3 days (all bank holiday weekend) trying to ascertain the board model/maker/manufacturer, with no success, in order to download the manual to discover what leads go where. Is there any computer whiz out there that could possibly throw any light on the positions of leads?? I would be sincerely eternaly grateful if there is. I am completely at the end of my tether. What a waste of a whole weekend, I expected to be using my new machine now. Instead I have a kitchen table coved in components and eating dinner from my lap! So is the wife - think I'm popular? Have included a picture of the offending pins. PLEASE help if you can.
Regards
Kevin

[cleaning up - attachment deleted by admin]You bought a motherboard and didn't know the model or brand?

Somewhere on it are some identifying marks. See what you can find.I have spent 3 days trying - believe me!! I have given up now. All I need to know is what leads go to what pins?screwball....... How about taking a pic of both sides of the mobo and posting it here ..... ? ( As large as possible) Have you contacted the seller to ask them what kind of a board it is?. All you know is that it has an Intel 925 chipset in it.

one can usually find the MAKERS name or an abbreviation thereof silk-screened on the motherboard/on the side of the last expansion board slot to the left of the motherboard. Additionally, the slot will often contain the board version number.

An FCC # will also sometimes yield results...
