Answer» WinXp MCE, Fujitsu/Siemens SCALEO E ,3ghz Celeron, 4Gb Ram.I just got this from Ebay and it is great but I wonder if anyone can help me with the RK0410 wireless keyboard with trackball. The keyboard communicates at 2.4 Ghz and most of the time it is fine..but..fairly often the trackball stops moving the mouse pointer efficiently(at all ranges). The KEYS still work. This seems to be totally random. It may recover after a period of time.I am an experience ELECTRONICS guy and I have dismantled the trackball and it is definitely clean and physically okay. My suspicion is that there is 2.4ghz interference.I have switched off the usual suspects i.e.router,phone base station and microwave cooker.I daren't ask the neighbours. There are no updated driver FILES as far as I can find. When the trackball is inefficient I can use my Logitech wireless USB mouse perfectly well. Any THOUGHTS?If something similar has happened to you...Are there any fluorescent lights around? They can also cause EMI.
When you say you can't find any updated drivers, does that mean you've gone through Device Manager as well?
START>right-click "my computer">properties>hardware tab>device manager
click the plus sign next to keyboards....On the submenu, right-click the wireless keyboard and click update to see if Windows will find one for you
