Solve : Robotic Operating Buddy?

Answer»

Anyone remember this thing?  It came bundled with some of the original Nintendo systems..

I use to have a lot of fun with it...   I think I still have it somewhere.. Of course it doesn't work though

Really? He doesn't go very fast, but he's one of the last unlockable characters. Quote from: Helpmeh on January 31, 2010, 08:18:26 AM

He's on Smash Brothers Brawl too!

But I believe that is the Japanese version being represented for some reason (colour scheme of white and red like the japanese console)

Personally I think it's silly to have him as a character on that, I mean, seriously, have they USED him for real? he takes ages just to push a button, I doubt he'll be able to be a very potent fighter.

And yes helpmeh! the fact that he's on a racing game as a playable character is not just funny, it's downright ridiculous. It's like they ran out of ideas or something, akin to the later megaman games. I mean, seriously, once you make "yamato man" you've PRETTY much confirmed that your out of good ideas.

ROFL   I remember that...  I used to just pick up the second controller that ROB used and push the buttons manually..    Although, I did have fun watching him move around...  What was really fun, was letting one of the Gyroscopes spin up to maximum speed and letting it take off rolling down the hallway, hauling a**

from what I can tell of the two games that he was used with (gyromite and stack up I believe they were called) they Nintendo seems to have taken two games they had in development and just moved the b button function to the second controller and then tossed in a few specifics that make the game a complete pain in the but with him. your sitting there waiting for him to raise the BAR, and an enemy is coming towards you, and ol' ROB takes his sweet-*censored* time pushing the button.
