is the rpm of an HDD can affect the internet speed browsing? is it the best to choose or replace my HDD to 7200rpm to make it faster internet speed?

im using modem to connect to internet with 460.8kbps
Pentium3 450Mhz but the speed is to slow.
256MB RAM, 10GB HDD.

need your help....The speed of the HDD has little or no effect on browsing. More RAM might help some, otherwise there is not much that can be DONE to increase the speed of a 56K modem.What type of Internet connection do you have? Is it DSL? What's the claimed maximum speed for your Internet service, PER your ISP?

What OS are you running? If Win XP, then, yes, more RAM might help.im using my N70 Phone to connect to internet with 460.8kbps

NOPE! i mean 256MB and 128MB Memory chips install on my laptop.
