Answer» Hi. I recently purchased a new SATA harddrive and a Serial ATA PCI ADAPTER and installed it on my computer. I also have an IDE hard drive in my computer. Is there any way to run them both TOGETHER on my computer. I want the SATA drive as my primary drive. I can use them separately but not together. Windows XP PROFESSIONAL is installed on both.(The IDE drive was the original drive in computer...) When I try to run them together the IDE takes over, if when set as a master slave..the RAID software is installed in system BIOS. Any SUGGESTIONS? Shyboy
