Answer» I was wondering why everytime I turn on my printer, on the windows taskbar where icons are located, the "safely remove hardware" program icon appears. I double clicked and checked properties and settings, and it says the printer, drivers and USB are all working PROPERLY...no errors. but..my printer is very slow to perform tasks, it takes like 5-10 minutes to print a single document from the web. is there possibly SOMETHING wrong that I do not know? sorry I'm just a beginner in the world of computers. That icon comes up only because it is a USB device, which is completely normal. Your computer may be running/printing slow because it could be infected with trojans/viruses/spyware/adware/etc. Try downloading AVG Anti-virus (FREE edition) and Spybot: Search And Destroy, and running a scan on both after updating them.avira better than avg http://www.free-av.com/I do have spybot installed, and I'll do a scan TOMORROW. thanks!!!
