Answer» My CD drive door opens and closes at will. I'm running Win XP Pro SP2 on a 4 year old Dell. I do not find any info on the Samsung site nor anywhere else. Any suggestions??hmmm... i know some people find it fun to hack into a computer and open the drive DISC trays REMOTELY, so that may be a possible cause. another cause would be a whacked out drive. you will need to TEST the drive in another computer to determine if the drive is faulty/going faulty.Thanx Homer-my initial feel wasa bad drive.
