I've been using the Samsung SyncMaster 906BW for a few months now, enjoying it with no problems.

So when I decided to update my video card to one that had a dvi out I started having some problems. At first the the monitor won't DISPLAY the digital connection, it just goes from analog to digital, black to black. So I thought it was weird and I just plugged in the vga cable did some WORK and went to bed. When I woke up I noticed that it was displaying through dvi. I had both the cables CONNECTED overnight. So it was working fine till I decided to reboot.

After the reboot it would only display through vga. I tried disconnecting the vga cable and only CONNECTING through dvi and the monitor still wouldn't display through dvi. So I left it on for the day and when I came home it was displaying through dvi again. So from now on whenever I reboot I have to use vga and wait for the monitor to switch to the dvi connection.

Another weird thing is the windows loading screen will display through dvi while its booting but it goes black when it tries to go to the welcome screen where you choose which account you want to use.

So I was wondering if anyone here KNOWS what the problem is? I just want my monitor to display through dvi without any problems. Any help would be greatly appeciated.
