im new guys at this forum, hope can get your help! thanks 1ST kiss!
currently my PC using maxtor 80G HDD, it is IDE type. i just bought SATA HDD 120G. i put SATA data cable in SATA1 slot, which near battery in motherboard, and power has been connected.
when i go to disk management i unable to read my SATA external HDD. i restart and move into BIOS. i enable chipset SATA controller (there is just one OPTION to change only, rather than that don have any to select slot of SATA) , but still cant show my SATA.
i have set jumper to master for C: data, my SATA is without jumper
my motherboard - ASUS X Series P4S800D-X
Operating Systerm - Windows XP Professional Ver. 2002 Service Pack 2
processor - intel CELERON(R) CPU 2.40GHz,
RAM - 512MB
Graphic CARD - ASUS V9520-X
