I need some help UNDERSTANDING SATA Data Cables??

I got a Motherboard and it can with two sata Cables but I NEVER saw these before.
They ware Yellow and it was 4. to 6. Pin and the one end was bent like an L Shape.

Then the sell out there 7. Pin to 7. Pin and 8. pin to 4. Pin.

What makes you certain you're looking at sata cables? You sure you're not confusing Firewire with Sata? Unusual to supply sata cables with a motherboard, they usually come with drives.Intel motherboards come with sata cables.Quote from: I Shooter on April 19, 2009, 12:36:08 AM

Thanks for that info. Are they "yellow 4. to 6. Pin and the one end was bent like an L Shape"?My Motherboard is an ECS Motherboard and it is an AMD

And when I called them they told me they ware 4. Pin to 6. Pin SATA Cables.

And whenever I buy a SATA Drive and I just got two they never come with SATA Cables?
