Answer» Does anyone have experience of the adapter shown on this SITE. Do they really perform to spec? ThanksI use this adapter all the time in my shop for DATA recovery and backups. I love it, never have a problem. The only thing I don't like about it though is the 2.5" connector for LAPTOP drives...it doesn't have a pin 1 marker so you're always guessing as to which way the adapter goes on the drive. other than that, it's a pretty GOOD product.curious... how is this better than an hdd enclosure? UNLESS you are in a shop and have to deal w/ different types of harddrives??Yes, that's it, I have ATA, UATA, Sata and laptop hdd's to play with. V.
