Answer» Hello all, I am looking for a way to SAVE the machines names that actually reply BACK on my PING command BAT file that I run. Right now I am using the command below but must SEARCH through the txt file to find the machines that are alive because it saves everything. ping -1 machine name 1>>results.txt thanks Just logging the successful pings... ping -1 machine name && echo machine name >>results.txt Thanks Contrex, I will give it a shot tomorrow.
