Solve : Saving Outlook Express Folders&Files outide OE?

Answer»

Is there anyway to save important Outlook Express mail folders and files either to external storage (flash drives, ETC) or within Windows XP (My Documents, etc) so as to relieve the "overquota" pressure from my ISP but still be able to refer back to the saved email files for reference ?? Thanks for any tips - Jolly28Quote

Most likely, you have your OE set to leave messages on server, so you have to go to your ISP web site, login to your mail, and delete old messages from there. It won't affect messages on your computer.
Set your OE to delete messages form server after downloading them:
Quote
1. Open Outlook Express

2. Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts

3. Click the Mail Tab and click once on the Expedient Email Account in the account window to HIGHLIGHT it, then click the PROPERTIES button

4. In the Account Properties, click the Advanced Tab

5. Remove the check from "Leave a copy of messages on server"

6. Click OK and OK. Click the Close button on the Accounts window
