Answer» Hello I run Windows XP. Last night I was running out of room on C and did a COMPRESSION. After that I shut off the computer. This morning I see this message when I turn on the computer: Please update the display program and driver. Then another message comes that says: The grahpic card in use does not support gamma adjustment or the gamma adjustmnet values current in use cannot be suported by the graphic card. I use Expert Vision 6.1 ALSO last night my son downloaded some movies. Can I just do a system restore and go back to where things were working well? Would that help? How would I do that? Also, today my fan is running on high, it usualy isn't this loud.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! No idea what you've done here.
Sure you can try a System Restore. If that doesn't work re-install the GFX card drivers.
There isn't much point of compressing files on the C:\ as they still take up space and when need to be used have to be uncompressed.
If you don't use them, delete them. Thanks! I got it fixed. Apparently when I did the compression or something, the graphic card stopped working. We REINSTALLED it and everything is fine. Thanks! You MAY have compressed the GFX card software files :P.
