Answer» I have a World disk 147 GB SCSI 80 pin hard drive. i need to know what i need to put it on a Acorp Advance Board, which i think is IDE. Any help will be greatly appreciated.!! thank you mattA SCSI controller and cable that is appropriate for it.You will require SCSI controller CARD and the correct cable TYPE, I think your drive could be an Ultra 320 80-PIN SCA2 and that type were made by Fujitsu and Hitachi, the cables are slightly different from IDE. Scsi Drivers were almost allways installed at the time of installing the operating system, and problems can arise if you TRY to install insitu. ( But do not take my word for it, Read what is on the Hard Drive and then Please check with the MANUFACTURERS)
