I was wondering if there is big difference in performance between:
Amd SEMPRON 2800+ and AMD ATHLON 2700++.
Would it be worth upgrading?

IMHO...If your motherboard supports it...I'd recommend a Pentium 4 processor over both of those AMD CPUs.I've never SEEN a motherboard that supports both an AMD processor and an Intel one ? Did I miss something ?Maybe I should clarify myself...

If you're upgrading from one AMD to the other...you really won't notice much of a difference.

However, if you have, or wish to purchase a new motherboard...P4 would be the better choice over those AMD processors.DeltaSlaya---->ReadThis
