Answer» I have a dos APPLICATION/program that needs to use the serial port. It can be used in windows 98. I am trying to use it in XP. (Command /DOS windows) What did Microsoft change in the way you use the serial port from Windows 98 to XP? I NEED to add this: I use a LCOM application to open the port in WIN 98 and OLDER.
