No, I have had windows xp for quite awhile now.. in FACT SINCE close to when it came out. :/
according to what i have read, you will NEED to download catalyst 6.4 for the 9100 IGP.

you can find the catalyst control center and the display DRIVER here

also, here are instructions on how to uninstall/reinstall drivers.
