Answer» There appears to be a command, or .exe file, called "setup." It works when I type "setup" in MS-DOS (6.22), but when I type in "help," I don't SEE it listed there. Does anyone have any idea why it's not listed? Or am I LOOKING in the wrong spot? I just don't understand why it wouldn't be listed...It's not listed because it is not PART of MS-DOS. Windows 3.1 includes a setup program for configuring the system. Earlier versions had SOMETHING similar, I believe. That is likely what you are launching.That's good advice you got there. setup.exe can be an install file too. The help in MSDOS V6.22 only SHOWS system commands - internal and external commands. If you type setup /? then you may see some switches on the internal help that would be useful, but not all setup.exe have internal help.
