I'd like to hear comments on the color of a NETBOOK being a factor in consideration of whether to buy a particular model. You usually pay more for a color other than black or whatever is standard for the model, but it's hard not to at least consider other colors. But as a very portable device you're more apt to set your device down on a surface you can't be sure the cleanliness of, and more likely to have your hands be dirty when you use the device than a computer you use indoors only. I'm considering a white Asus Eee PC, but wondering if the light color is going to be hard to KEEP clean.If it's got a gloss finish, white is the best. Otherwise a black, or even coloured gloss will make FINGER smears incredibly obvious.There is a reason most utility and commercial vehicles are white. They show less dirt.
