Answer» How do i change the directory (not sure if thats what its called) of a shortcut? So what i mean by the directory is what happens when you click on the shortcut. thanksQuote from: davisw on April 24, 2007, 02:15:21 PM How do i change the directory (not sure if thats what its called) of a shortcut? But perhaps you'll be on the right track to your solution, if you look around in the Properties of the shortcut. You forgot to say what operating system this is in reference to.... is it WinXP? ... or....? With older versions of Windows, you can right click on a shortcut, and get a pop up menu. Then click on Properties. Have a look around in there. On my system, there are entries for the Target directory, and for the 'Start in' directory. Maybe one of these is what you are looking for. I HOPE this HELPS. |
