Solve : should i update my bios??

Answer»

i was wondering, should i update my bios even my computer acting fine?what can i get from that?If everything is working fine you don't really need to upgrade your BIOS.
You would have to check with your motherboard manufacturer to see if there are any significant advantages to be gained from a BIOS upgrade. (An upgrade of my older socket 939 motherboard added SUPPORT for DUAL core CPUs, for instance.) tq so much for the quick reply..i think i will stay with this old BIOS.Many expensive doorstops have been created by people fooling around with this method...Quote from: patio on January 30, 2008, 09:50:37 AM

I bought three BIOS chips from the service centre of my motherboards. Each COST me HK$20!Why 3 ? ?

Having three motherboards of the same factory and model no. , I bought them for the purpose of upgrade. The replaced BIOS chips are kept in my air-tight box with desicative.Quote from: Kai-yan on February 15, 2008, 01:09:26 AM

Dear Friend,
Because updating the BIOS is occasionally unsuccessful while buying a BIOS chip costs HK$20 and the upgrade of this kind must be a success!
