Answer» Single BOARD CPU are complete systems build on one daughterboard SIZE PCB. They contain one or two sockets for CPU, memory, video, LAN, usb and serial/ parallel connectors they come in various make, some are ISA slot, ,more modern are PCI(-?) or whatever the FUTURE holds.
Backplanes are used to assamble the system with also offers the P8P9 or ATX PSU connector.
I bought one long time AGO - i liked the design and concept - didn't pay much - but they are offered ten times that i payed for - unfortunately..
It doesn't boot anymore - i wanted to taste an audiocard and thereafter it didn't boot. I contacted the company support and tried their suggestions - to no avail.
The board holds some removable parts, CPU, DALLAS module and Award Bios
